Anti-Spam Policy
Last updated [EFFECTIVE DATE]
Sendehm is committed to compliance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). This policy explains the basis on which campaigns are sent, how senders are identified, and how recipients can unsubscribe.
1. Consent basis
The city contact lists available through Sendehm consist of business contacts whose email addresses are conspicuously published(for example, on business or brokerage websites and listings) without a statement that they do not wish to receive unsolicited commercial messages, and the messages sent relate to the recipient’s business or role. On that basis, sending is supported by implied consent under CASL. Where a published address carries a “no unsolicited email” notice, it is excluded.
2. Sender identification
Every campaign clearly identifies the sending real-estate professional, includes a valid physical mailing address, and provides a working unsubscribe mechanism, as CASL requires.
3. Unsubscribe
Every message includes a one-click unsubscribe link and a standards-based List-Unsubscribe header. Unsubscribe requests are honoured promptly — well within the 10 business days CASL allows — and are added to a platform-wide suppression list so the recipient is not contacted again through Sendehm.
4. Sender obligations
If you send campaigns through Sendehm, you agree to:
- provide accurate sender identity and contact details;
- use the platform only for permitted business-to-business real-estate marketing;
- not import or send to harvested, purchased, or otherwise non-permitted lists;
- use truthful subject lines and content; and
- respect unsubscribes and all applicable anti-spam laws.
5. Recipients
To stop receiving messages, use the unsubscribe link in any message or contact support@sendehm.com. We investigate complaints and suppress affected addresses. We retain unsubscribe, suppression, and sending-basis records.
6. United States
Sendehm is launching in Canada first. When the service becomes available for United States sending, US-directed campaigns will additionally be governed by the US CAN-SPAM Act, and this policy will be updated accordingly.
