Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Sendehm (“Sendehm”, “we”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for California residents, in a manner consistent with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
1. Information we collect
- Account & profile: your name, brokerage, business mailing address, email, and phone number.
- Listing & campaign content: the listings, copy, and images you create or upload.
- Payment information: handled by Stripe. We store Stripe customer and payment-method identifiers and receipts: we do not store full card numbers.
- Email-event data: sends, deliveries, opens, bounces, complaints, and unsubscribes for your campaigns.
- Recipient business-contact information: the city contact lists used to deliver campaigns, which consist of conspicuously-published business email addresses (see “Recipient business contacts” below).
- Technical data: limited session and security data needed to operate the service (e.g., authentication and region cookies).
2. How and why we use it
We use this information to provide and operate the service, generate campaign drafts with EHM, send your campaigns, process payments, provide support, maintain security and suppression lists, comply with legal obligations, and improve the product.
3. EHM and artificial intelligence
To generate marketing copy, your listing and campaign text is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, through its API. This content is processed to return drafts to you and is not used to train third-party models. EHM stores a per-user memory to personalise its assistance.
4. Service providers
We share information only with the processors needed to run Sendehm:
- Supabase: database, authentication, and file storage.
- Vercel: application hosting and delivery.
- Stripe: payment processing.
- Resend: sending campaign and transactional email and recording email events.
- Anthropic: AI generation for EHM.
These providers may process data in the United States. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
5. Recipient business contacts
The city contact lists consist of business contact information: email addresses of real-estate-related businesses and professionals that are conspicuously published. We process this information to deliver campaigns on a reasonable basis under CASL. Every campaign includes an unsubscribe mechanism; unsubscribes are honoured promptly and added to a platform-wide suppression list. Recipients may unsubscribe via the link in any message or contact support@sendehm.com.
6. Retention
We keep personal information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal and financial-record obligations, and resolve disputes. Suppression and unsubscribe records are retained so we can continue to honour them.
7. Security
We protect information using encryption in transit, access controls, and database row-level security. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent. California residents have the right to know, delete, and not be discriminated against for exercising their rights, and again, we do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, contact support@sendehm.com. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or your local regulator.
9. Cookies
We use only strictly-necessary cookies: for authentication/session and to remember your region. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
10. Children
Sendehm is a business tool and is not directed to children.
