Anti-Spam Policy
Last updated August 3, 2026
Sendehm is committed to compliance with the United States CAN-SPAM Act (Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography And Marketing Act). This policy explains the basis on which campaigns are sent, how senders are identified, and how recipients can opt out.
1. Consent basis
Unlike Canada’s CASL, which relies on implied consent, CAN-SPAM permits commercial email to business and consumer recipients alike on an opt-out basis: no prior consent is required, provided the message complies with CAN-SPAM’s content, identification, and opt-out requirements. The city contact lists available through Sendehm consist of business contacts whose email addresses are conspicuously published(for example, on business or brokerage websites and listings), and the messages sent relate to the recipient’s business or role. Anyone who opts out is never contacted again through Sendehm.
2. Sender identification
Every campaign clearly identifies the sending real-estate professional, includes a valid physical postal address, and does not use false or misleading header information or deceptive subject lines, as CAN-SPAM requires. Where a message is an advertisement, it is clearly and conspicuously identified as such.
3. Opt-out
Every message includes a one-click opt-out link and a standards-based List-Unsubscribe header. Opt-out requests are honoured promptly (well within the 10 business days CAN-SPAM allows) and are added to a platform-wide suppression list so the recipient is not contacted again through Sendehm.
4. Sender obligations
If you send campaigns through Sendehm, you agree to:
- provide accurate sender identity and contact details;
- use the platform only for permitted business-to-business real-estate marketing;
- not import or send to harvested, purchased, or otherwise non-permitted lists;
- use truthful subject lines and non-misleading header/routing information;
- identify a message as an advertisement where applicable; and
- honour opt-out requests and all applicable anti-spam laws.
5. Recipients
To stop receiving messages, use the opt-out link in any message or contact support@sendehm.com. We investigate complaints and suppress affected addresses. We retain opt-out, suppression, and sending-basis records.
